Francois de Coninck brings more than 35 years of international business experience, with a consistent track record of driving growth, structuring complex cross-border transactions, and establishing scalable market operations. He has played a pivotal role in supporting HuProTec’s strategic development, contributing both at an operational and strategic level to the company’s international expansion.
He combines deep, hands-on expertise in the Indonesian market with a strong understanding of local regulatory frameworks, business culture, and stakeholder dynamics. His experience spans market entry strategies, joint venture structuring, government and institutional engagement, as well as the development of robust commercial and operational frameworks in emerging markets.
As the designated CEO of PT. HuProTec Indonesia (currently in formation), Francois de Coninck will take full responsibility for leading the company’s market entry and long-term development in Indonesia. His mandate includes establishing and managing key strategic partnerships, overseeing regulatory alignment and compliance, and building a high-performance local organization across commercial, technical, and operational functions.
In this role, he will focus on positioning HuProTec as a leading provider of sustainable water infrastructure solutions in Indonesia, driving both decentralized and large-scale project implementation. This includes the development of local sales channels, coordination with government entities and utilities, execution of pilot projects, and scaling of operations through structured growth initiatives.
With his extensive international experience and strong local execution capabilities, Francois de Coninck is uniquely positioned to bridge global strategy with on-the- ground implementation, ensuring a disciplined, compliant, and commercially successful market presence for HuProTec in Indonesia.

As an internationally experienced business lawyer, Marie brings deep legal, financial, and regulatory expertise across the energy, infrastructure, and cleantech sectors—with a strong operational track record in key African markets. Her background in structuring bankable public-private partnerships, navigating cross-border legal environments, and enabling climate-aligned financing will directly support HuProTec’s mission of delivering decentralized, clean water solutions to water-stressed regions.
Marie has advised on impactful projects in Ghana, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, the DRC, Zambia, Mauritania, and beyond—ranging from green hydrogen infrastructure and rural electrification, to mining-related energy projects and carbon monetization strategies. Her experience spans both civil and common law systems and includes advising governments, DFIs, investors, and energy innovators across Africa and the Middle East.
As HuProTec scales the deployment of its patented Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs)—from mining operations and construction sites to offshore petroleum bases and rural communities—Marie’s insights will be vital in:
